Is my home "loftable?"

The main requirement is adequate ceiling height. If you have a "volume ceiling" (17-19 ft. high flat ceiling), you are probably in good shape. If you have the more traditional "vaulted ceiling" (where all or some of the ceiling is sloped), try to gauge how much head height will be available.
